What is reverse logistics?
Reverse logistics is especially important for online stores that sell goods abroad and do not have their own physical represence in the form of a warehouse, store or office in the given country.
Reverse logistics in the case of online stores means that the goods must be delivered in the opposite way, ie. from customer to online store. Let's say you sell your goods to Poland and don't have a local presence there. If your Polish customer wants to claim or return goods, he is forced to send you goods from Poland to your country.
This is, of course, a problem, especially in terms of the high cost of postage for a package abroad for customers. Another problem may be the lengthy processing of the return / claim and the consequent reduced willingness to purchase in the future.
